What is Luso-Africa?

Luso-Africa refers to five African nations that Portugal colonized. The shared Portuguese colonial heritage of Cabo Verde, Guinea-Bissau, São Tomé & Príncipe, Angola, and Mozambique gives these countries historical, cultural, and linguistic ties that go back centuries.

The Portuguese language that unites the Luso-African nations also isolates them from the countries surrounding them. Likewise, the vast physical distance between these countries isolates them from each other.

LAMP International exists to help bridge that gap.
